A 27 Year Journey
On the 4th July 1994, the company "Enterprise Plastic Company" was started by Chris and Amanda Knowles.

epco began life operating from an 80 sq ft bedroom in their home in Hollyshaw Grove, Whitkirk, Leeds.

On the 9th November 1994, the "Enterprise Plastic Company" was incorporated. As the name already existed at Companies House it was abbreviated to epco ltd.

In January 1995 the business moved into a new 2,500 sq ft office and warehouse space at Unit 3, Felnex Square, Cross Green Industrial Estate, Leeds.

In the financial year 1995/96 we reached our first £1 million annual turnover. In the year 2000 epco rebranded it's self and introduced a new logo which included our swirl.

In 2000 our Senior Sales Team member Steve Booker joined epco and we also attained our first audited quality certificate ISO 9001:2000

In 2007 epco achieved its largest ever order worth €2.3m for a large African pipeline project. It took a total of 89 separate 40ft containers to ship the goods to Dakar Port, Senegal.

In 2009 we moved into Unit 6, Felnex Square, our current office and warehouse with a combined office and storage space of 45,000 sq ft.

epco is continuing to grow successfully in terms of turnover, number of employees and stock holding, as well as developing our presence online.

A brief history
Since July 1994 epco has been on an incredible journey of success. Starting as the “Enterprise Plastic Company”, we incorporated as “epco limited” in November 1994.
Our early decision to specialise in industrial pipes and industrial pipe fittings enabled us to develop as a highly reputable supplier, able to offer products for both national
and international requirements.
epco achieved its first £1M turnover in 1995/96, one year after the company was incorporated. Our largest order was placed and shipped in 2007 for a large
mining pipeline project in Africa, totalling €2.3 million.
epco Plastics success has been built on highly skilled and dedicated team members, all of whom have an in-depth wealth of knowledge in industrial pipe products. Our partnership with Comer
Italy, as their exclusive UK distributor transformed epco once again. We brought the Comer brand into the UK market and have worked closely with them ensuring products are
designed and engineered to the highest technical quality and specifications. Today Comer plastics is one of the most widely used and trusted brands in the market.
In 2009 we expanded our warehouse facility to 45,000 square foot. This substantial indoor & outdoor warehouse with yard, multiple loading bays, trade counter, office & conference room
provides us the space needed for all future expansion plans currently in place.
