ABS Plastic Pipes Dimensions Chart - Imperial Sizes
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), a product renowned for its excellent impact strength, wide operating temperature range from (minus) -40ºc to (plus) +70ºc and its electrical resistance.
Due to these robust qualities it is commonly found in industrial applications requiring an energy-efficient solution in the low-temperature ranges such as refrigeration and cooling systems, chilled water, transportation of foodstuffs and slurries etc., and is available in a range of Imperial sizes.
ABS valves and fittings are resistant to a majority of acids and aggressive agents, to mineral oils and fatty substances, in addition to water and watery saline solutions.
Please see the below Chart of all Imperial ABS Pipe sizes from ¼” to 10” NB and 8mm to 280mm OD.

ABS Pipe Support Centres
In above ground installations it is essential to provide support to ensure that the weight of the pipe and its contents are adequately supported. The following recommended maximum spacings are for ABS pipes operating under the following conditions:
- Fluid density of not more than 1g/cm3
- PN15 pipe
- Horizontal pipe runs
For vertical pipe runs, spacing should be increased by 50%.
